How it plays

One cricket game with many ways in, from a single over to a whole career. Each part has its own page.

Batting on a computer: the shot keys and the field on screen
Batting on a keyboard. Every format plays like this, from a Super Over to a Test.

Googly physics

The game's own physics: swing, seam, spin, bounce by length, and a bat that meets the ball at a real spot on the blade.

My Career

Make one cricketer and play only his part. From a district side, or a franchise contract, to a Test cap.

Match Day

The real international calendar. On the day your country plays, its match is yours to play.

World events

World titles, the Summit Shield, tours and Test series, each hosted somewhere and played around the host's grounds.

Club cricket

Your own club: a squad, an Academy, cups, the Ladder and the Weekend Series.

Chase of the Day

One last-over chase a day, the same for everyone. Compare it with your friends.

Super Over cups

Eight sides, one over each, groups then the knockouts. A whole cup in about twenty minutes.

Journeys and Pathways

How players get better: steps met in real matches raise their skills and teach them traits. Pathways take a young player to 70.

Online

A friend or the next player waiting, and Live 1v1 on the Ladder and in the Weekend Series.

Stats

Records kept the way real cricket keeps them, and the Ladder's board.

Your club and your country

When you start, you pick a club to support and a country. The menus can take either one's colours, with its home ground playing behind them, and your country's real fixtures become your Match Days. Change them any time in Settings.

Grounds

65 of them: 11 international stadiums, 30 franchise grounds and 24 club grounds, each with its own pitch and stands. All the grounds, and how pitches play.

Every format

A six-ball Super Over, T5, T10, T20 and one-dayers, up to a full five-day Test. The longer formats can be played in Phases: the overs that decide the match, with the rest simulated ball by ball.

Online

A friend by link or room code, the next player waiting, or ranked Live 1v1 on the Ladder and in the Weekend Series. Up to T20, with penalties for leaving early. More on online play.

Two players, one screen

One bats, one bowls, then swap: a controller each, or share the keyboard or a tablet's screen. More on two players.

Made from scratch

The code, the Googly physics, the kits, the emblems and the grounds are our own work. Some ideas come from games we admire: the ring that closes on the pitch, from the classic cricket games, and Ultimate Team-style squads, chemistry and a transfer market. We built each one from our own description of how it should play, without copying any code, art or assets from those games. The players' models and motion, the music and a few open-source tools are licensed, and each is named on the credits page.
