Dev notes

What's changed in the game, what's next, and why. New notes also go out to the email list, and there's a feed for feed readers.

Online play, new kits and faces

Play a friend or a stranger online, ranked or not. New shirts with names and numbers. Faces built from a photo.

A name, and a month in the nets

The game is called Stumped: Ultimate Cricket 27. Short balls now get up, every batter can try the scoop, and no two grounds look alike.

Bat meets ball

The bat is now a physical object. Where the ball meets the blade decides the shot, so no two are the same.

Pitches that play true

Every ground has its own square and its own way of playing. Pitches wear, spinners find rough, and dew comes in at night.

Two players, new menus

Play a friend on one screen. New console-style menus, a ring that shows the length early, and difficulty that changes how the computer plays.

Test cricket

Five-day Tests, Test series and first-class cricket in My Career. Every nation has home regions.

New players, real movement

Every player has a new body and moves with a full set of motion-captured cricket animations.
